The Keystone blood-lines are that of the Battak and Sandalwood which are of the Indonesian islands in the east Indies. They have free flowing strides along with high spirits, alertness, noble appearance along with an over-all bone structure which point to the origin of the breed's heritable traits. Arabian blood was introduced to improve the breed.
